Former model Lorraine Pascale is best known as a television cook who sold almost one million books in the United Kingdom. She presented programme Baking Made Easy and several others. Lorraine Pascale was born on November 17th, 1972, in London, England to West Indian parents and soon after that she was adopted. During her childhood, she was fostered several times. When she was sixteen, she was discovered by a modeling agent. As a model, Pascale appeared on the American Elle’s cover, in Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 1998, and in Robbie Williams’ music video.

Pascale was looking for a job, that she could do after her modeling career and that would fit perfectly her personality. That’s when she discovered her passion for cooking. In 2005, she took a course at Leith’s School of Food and Wine and started her journey. After few years, she opened Ella’s Bakehouse. She also obtained a college degree in Culinary Arts at Thames Valley University.

You could see her as a presenter of Baking Made Easy and Home Cooking Made Easy, publishing same-titled books. She also appeared on the Last Minute Christmas, Fast, Fresh & Easy Food, Lorraine Pascale: How to be a Better Cook, competitive cooking show My Kitchen Rules and other shows. Beside her income from TV appearances, she gained a nice sum thanks to her cook books. From 1995 to 2000, Pascale was married to Polish musician Count Kaz Balinski-Jundzill. Their daughter, Ella Balinska, is an actress.
