Jelly Roll is the stage name of popular American rapper Jason DeFord. He is best known for his legal dispute with a restaurant chain Waffle House. As an artist he became famous mostly for his collaborations with rappers Haystak and Lil Wyte. As of 2017, Scott Herman’s estimated net worth is currently $700 thousand.

Jelly Roll was born in 1986, in Nashville, Tennessee. His nickname JellRoll was given to him by his mother. When he was 14 years old, he ended up in prison. He was returning there until 2009 for different reasons, such as a drug possession. Music became his therapy in the tough situations.

In 2010, Jelly Roll gained a wide recognition thanks to his collaboration Pop Another Pill with Lil Wyte which was successful on YouTube. He then released a number of mixtapes, such as Therapeuitic Music and Whiteboy series, followed by solo studio album The Big Sal Story in 2012 and other collaboration albums.

The success brought him the two with Haystak titled Strictly Business and Business As Usual as well as the one with Lil Wyte, No Filter. Jelly Roll’s latest work the sequel album No Filter 2 from November 2016. During his music career, he has also collaborated with artists like Caskey, Young Buck, Rittz, Yelawolf and others.
