BBC Worldwide and National Geographic Channel’s reality show Life Below Zero made a celebrity out of Chip Hailstone and his wife Agnes. So far seven seasons were made and salary for their appearance on this series nicely boosted Hailstone’s wealth. His current net worth is about $250,000 as of 2016.

Chip originally lived in Kalispell, Montana and came to Alaska for a visit. He never left and eventually found here also native Inupiaq women named Agnes who became his wife. Chip had a very good skills as a hunter and fisherman thanks to his upbringing in Montana. Those skills came very handy.
He and his family hunt bear, caribou, seal, bison, wolf, fox, and many more. The move seasonally for better hunting grounds. In 2011, Hailstone had some troubles with law. He was convicted for perjury but he appealed, believing his conviction was unjust. The following legal battle lasted years.
